Overview:

"Lead Candidate Identified"

 

The Senior Director, Enterprise Information Management is responsible for creating, maintaining and continuously improving a number of enterprise platforms that support Sysco’s strategic business strategy.  This includes platforms like Business Intelligence, Enterprise Data Warehouse, Intranets and Portals (Associate and Supplier), and Master Data Management. The Sr.Director, EIM participates in strategic IT planning at the Enterprise level and formulates technology strategies for information management and analytics. 

Responsibilities:
  • Advance the state of Sysco Enterprise Information Management in order make data widely accessible and to enable rich analytics that support our business priorities.
  • Establish an Information Management strategy and technology ecosystem that supports agility, stability, and scalability while being cost efficient.
  • Build platform and analytic roadmaps (18-24 mo) for key functional areas such as Sales, Merchandising, Revenue Management, Warehouse, Supply Chain and Finance linked to business objectives.
  • Stabilize and Rationalize EIM technology landscape to control costs and to ensure a robust capability that is highly available and reliable.
  • Implement an agile data management program that enables Sysco to efficiently and quickly introduce new data sets, master key data, and publish data to support business objectives.
  • Create an environment that attracts and retains top talent in support of our strategic mission.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous learning, innovation and exploration in order to achieve a best in class analytic capability.
  • Develop an efficient and effective operating model that provides world-class support that meets or exceeds service level agreements, meets schedule, scope and budget expectations on projects, proactively addresses incidents and eliminates failure modes systematically through root cause analysis.
  • Must have an executive presence, as this job will interface with senior executives throughout the company.
  • Enable value chain analytic capabilities that extend from our suppliers to our customers.

 

 

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree required plus 10 years of IT experience with increasing levels of responsibility and 5+ years experience leading large distributed teams or an equivalent combination of eduction and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

 

ABILITIES AND SKILLS:

  • Highly skilled and knowledgeable in various data warehousing and business intelligence technologies (SAP BW, HANA, Teradata, Netezza, Oracle Exadata, Business Objects, Oracle Business Intelligence EE, Microstrategy, etc.)
  • Practical knowledge of Big Data technologies (NoSQL, Hadoop, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of data integration platforms (Informatica, Infosphere Data Stage, Oracle Data Integrator, etc.)
  • Solid understading of SAP ERP and legacy ERP systems
  • Strong understanding of process design and various SDLCs
  • Experience with agile development methods
  • Expert level understanding of systems and information architecture
  • Ability to communicate complex topics simply
  • Ability to effectively interact with and persuade senior executives
